We’re carrying on the Happy Star Wars happiness. It’ll stop soon I promise, for tomorrow shall belong to the dark side of the Force. Darth Vader tweeted this earlier today:

  • In the case of the Topps Star Wars cards, I think there’s somewhere around 25 to 30 collectors competing to have the highest grade set, and then the PSA issues awards every year. I have stacks of awards that I’ve received for my Star Wars sets from PSA for having the best set in the world based on the condition.

Make Fun Memories With This Coco “Remember Me” Card Game Bring life to the party with this Coco “Remember Me” card game, a Bingo-style game based on the traditional game of Loteria. It’s sure to make any night a night to remember with your friends and family! Star Wars fanatics, welcome to BoxLunch’s Star Wars Collection—a carefully curated selection of the must-have apparel, merchandise, accessories, and fan favorites from a galaxy far, far away (okay, not really, we’re an online shop, but you get the point). I have always really loved the imagery in the cards and found them to be very inspiring. (I'm not the only one, either. Check out this amazing deck with a Star Wars theme!) Not surprisingly, I find the cards to be even more wonderful in miniature form. I'd like to point out two things about these cards: 1.

@darthvader: In addition, I declare tomorrow to be “Dark Lord of the 5th Day”. Send money. And rebels.

In any case, we thought you might like this. Ever since he was little, artist Chepo Peña has been a fan of Star Wars. He grew up playing Lotería which is a Mexican game of chance using a special deck of 54 cards, each possessing a special image and number.

Star Wars Loteria Card Game For Sale

Peña has mashed two of his favourite things together to create a new set of Lotería cards that where he replaced the traditional elements with characters from the Star Wars saga. For example in the La Luna card the moon is now the Death Star, or with card #9, El Barril, the barrel is now depicted by Artoo (poor little guy). Have a look at some of Peña’s Lotería cards after the jump.

3 – La dama (The lady)

6 – La sirena (The mermaid)

9 – El barril (The barrel)

12 – El valiente (The Brave One)

14 – La muerte (The Death)

20 – El pájaro (The Bird)

21 – La mano (The hand)

22 – La bota (The boot)

23 – La luna (The moon)
