Charles Davis Lowe II (born January 15, 1968) is an American actor and director. He is the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe.He won an Emmy Award for his supporting role in Life Goes On as a young man living with HIV. From 1988 to 1993, the series 'host' was Joel Robinson,. an eccentric, mellow inventor. Shot into space by his superiors at the Gizmonic Institute and forced to reside in the bone-shaped Satellite of Love, the goal was to use the bad movies to drive Joel insane, a fate he averted by building robotic companions Crow T. Robot. and Tom Servo,. to help him make fun of the films. However, this year they have opted not to do a holiday movie, instead choosing to do an additional two episodes of their upcoming Season 8. One more programming note! Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has opted to air their movies at 10 p.m. In order to avoid being in direct competition with the Hallmark Channel movies. The Complete List of 2020’s Hallmark Movies!
Hallmark Christmas Movie Bingo 2019
The classic 1954 movie White Christmas is one of my all-time favorites to watch this time of year. And I know I’m not the only one who still loves it. Every December readers search my site for information about it, like whether Columbia Inn was a real place in Pine Tree, Vermont.
The weekend is here, but it’s not just any weekend. Beginning tomorrow we Hallmarkies will begin our annual tradition of binging on Christmas movies every weekend from now until Christmas Day! It’s time for Countdown to Christmas, y’all!

It is NOT a typo that I only listed three movies on the weekend of November 28-29. That is because HMM has not announced a Sunday night movie for that weekend. That doesn’t mean they won’t add something down the line, though. Can I cross my fingers and hope that Kristoffer Polaha is secretly filming a Christmas movie in Vancouver even as we speak that will end up in that spot?
Christmas Day eve, which is on a Friday this year, traditionally features the latest “When Calls the Heart” Christmas movie.
So unless you are a night owl, set your DVRs accordingly!
Lastly, given that each week there will be four movies to watch and review, I’m likely NOT going to be able to do four previews and four reviews each week. After all, I work full time AND host two podcasts AND have a family AND need to have time to watch all the movies! As such, I likely will pick one movie to preview each Friday (beginning next weekend) to focus a preview on, and then spend Monday through Thursday posting one review each day.
